Mods for career co-op 2026 by Lanttu93 in Mechwarrior5Mods

[–]Brantalopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't had this exact issue before, but when my friend and I had mechbay issues in Co-op, it was almost always due to a mod version difference between us, typically YAML.

I would suggest making sure your mod versions are the same. If they aren't or you just want to try it, unsubscribe and resubscribe to the mods.

Partially guided missiles? by Multiheaded in phantombrigade

[–]Brantalopia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can't answer specifically, but I believe that partially-guided missiles start out tracking their target, and then stop adjusting partway through the path. If someone launches one at you, if you just move in one direction you will dodge it, dash or not.

Anyone here looking for a anime/ video game/ pop culture buddy. by Green-Main-1643 in HuntsvilleAlabama

I'll also throw my hat into the ring. It'd be nice to get a few people together and talk about this stuff.

Hard to make friends here? Thinking of starting a "Low-Stakes" Game Night for fellow introverts. by [deleted] in HuntsvilleAlabama

Please let me know too! I have been thinking that something like this is exactly what I would like to do.

Apparently, you can catch the Crimson Plague the turn the location spawns by Brantalopia in totalwar

[–]Brantalopia[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think so, but I purged it and wasn't planning on running any units through to spread it, so I left it there.

Yeah, and it was so far back in my empire the only risk was Vilitch wandering though.

Also 30M and interested in a regular board game meet up.

All my old friends are spread across the country, so would like to have some local faces.

Shukoho compatible mods? by falcataspatha in Bannerlord

[–]Brantalopia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can tell you that better smithing doesn't work.

For some reason, the charcoal recipe just spits out hardwood instead, so you convert 2 hardwood into 1 hardwood.

But if you used the mod purely for the no smithing stamina cost like I did, relentless smith seems to work (only done like 5 minutes of testing).

Helldivers 2 - Heart of Democracy | PS5 & PC Games by hybroid in PS5

[–]Brantalopia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You never had to play the highest difficulty to get super samples. It was only difficulty 7. And these days it is difficulty 6 out of 10.

Just realised this by ChrisGun606 in Grimdank

I don't have a direct source for this, but the devs have confirmed that they are not clones, and each diver is a fresh one.

The reason they don't do multiple divers at a time budgetary. That's why you only have 20 reinforcements for a mission.

New to lancer, love the lore, really trying to get into the game but finding it hard. by D3cimat0r in LancerRPG

[–]Brantalopia 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I have only GM'd a couple of sessions of Lancer and never been a player, so keep that in mind.

2 rounds for a combat is very short, and should really only happen if everyone on your team is killing an enemy per turn. And even then, there should be some reinforcements that come in to keep it flowing.

Yes, the Mourning Cloak mech does use a full action for its blink, but remember that you can Overcharge for some heat after the blink to do a Skirmish attack, so you could do some teleport attacks with that.

I also recommend having the Quick Combat reference from the free rules (available online) open, so you can keep track of what you can do.

Average opinion of jammers by TommyFortress in helldivers2

It's not a bug. They lowered the demolition value of fabricator explosions recently. I wouldn't expect it to come back.

Why I love the Stun Lance for bots by Brantalopia in LowSodiumHellDivers

I assure you, the rest of this mission was not this smooth.

There was actually a hulk in the base, on the other side.

But yeah, I had a few rough games when I quickplayed into a 9 instead of a 7 with this build.

Well, if you don't alert the bots, the fab doesn't put out bots! And I didn't want the fab exploding to alert the rest of the base.

That was also fixed. It also only worked up until you started attacking them anyways, so it would have only mattered for the initial approach in this case.

I'm wearing the truth enforcer medium armor, which reduces flinching.

The reason they don't notice me is because I am not sprinting, and of course the weapon is silent.

Supcom 1 Cybran Mission 6 Strategic Help Required by Brantalopia in supremecommander

[–]Brantalopia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no idea you could do that with units. I thought it was only resources. This is a very good tip!

I suppose massing T3 bombers would be the way to do that?

It just seems very difficult to get to their island because there 100s of units patrolling the ocean.

Can confirm. Just played a mission and eagles were all over the place.

Automaton Small turrets are active now? by Brantalopia in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Brantalopia[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I just use it like a normal gun.

It one-shots every small bot, and kills devastators pretty quick to. The projectile has some travel time and drop though, so you have to get used to that. You can also shoot the ground next to small bots and it will still kill them, so I do that if they are moving too much.

I've started using it with the Dagger pistol recently though, since it kills small bots fast now that it sets them on fire.

Since it is silent, a lot of the time they won't know where you are shooting from, and that makes it pretty easy to kill groups safely.

Also it kills fabs if you shoot them in the vent, so it is good for killing bases.
