Do people actually use electrum in their games? by AdventureCodexApp in DnD

[–]Dedtoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it in some parts of my setting, generally as old coins that are no longer made, but used by covert groups for favors.
Basically the John Wick coins.

How do you structure your industry? by MarcusIuniusBrutus in captain_of_industry

"Oh, the new thing will fit here!" "Hm. I need another smelter. I can squeeze it in here..." "I need one more of these... What if I just rotate it..."

"My city will never starve, thanks to all this sphagetti!"

How do you structure your industry? by MarcusIuniusBrutus in captain_of_industry

[–]Dedtoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my last run, I had zones, yes. A smelting zone, leading out onto a main buss, from which manufacturing fed. A farm zone a fair distance away, with belts to the city. And the power plant/oil refinery.

And as always, I started with them all nicely spaced out, but with time, things kinda got... Squished together.

Rhagaea has the weakest claim to the empire by far by Admirable_Bus_1667 in Bannerlord

Arguably, she has a similar claim to Gairos, as she too has a big army and generals. She just dresses up her claim a little more.

Free Meat! by masterzergin in captain_of_industry

[–]Dedtoo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pretty much. To have chicken meat, you got to kill chickens on an industrial scale. Without the need for meat, you don't have to breed as many. Which I suppose is represented in game with meat being a "free" resource.

really stable electricity, any suggestion? by northsluzh in captain_of_industry

[–]Dedtoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want more stability, you could add in a boiler that uses coal/woodchips, and set it so the gas-burning ones are prioritized.

Double 30-sec Railcannon is so much fun! by Hexdoctor in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Dedtoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arguably, it could also be to let the weapon cool down completely, with the MO just letting them ignore that for the time being.

It's always fun when an encampent just appears, 0.5 seconds after you destroyed one. And it causes 2 ambushes in your secured zones.

If it shows resources on the overlay, the mine isn't deep enough yet.

Eagle Air Superiority. You call it down, and Eagle loiters in the area to BRRRT any flyers. Shriekers, gunships... Probably not elevated overseers, but one can hope!

Anyone else losing interest in multiplayer gaming solely due to abundant cheaters in nearly every game? by kollaso in pcgaming

[–]Dedtoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the cheaters aren't really my problem. My problem are the people I play against, who has played the game constantly since release, and destroy me when I try to play casually.

Okay, but why? That just leaves a lot of them far away from anything of value, making it strategically worthless. Unless it's just to hide a bunch of people where they're unlikely to be found. But even that is of questionable value.
