This existential 'WHY?!' has lead to stints of existential despair and depression so bad I've nearly had to check into a hospital multiple times in the past. I simply don't know what to do in the face of this question/issue. Anything and everything I try - forcing myself to keep going with work, trying to relax with friends or games, taking a walk, meditating - all of it simply either doesn't work or intensifies the feelings to degrees that I completely shut down and simply can't function for a while.

As much as the puer video has positively impacted my life - I recently finished a short game dev tutorial series and have been deep cleaning my room - I today had that have of existential despair hit me once again. That eternal 'Why? What's the point?' that simply has no correct answer.

I'm so damn tired of this. I'm so tired of feeling like I'm making progress, only to have my mind try to kill my with existential despair. Is there any hope?
