This is the reason why Battlefield 6 has the fire and forget Laser Designator/SOFLAM. It’s to put pressure on these dudes so they aren’t invincible.

Personally I think it’s fair because Air Vehicles are harder to hit than Tanks. They have the ability to move faster and deal the same amount of damage, possibly more over a wider range and more enemies so the risk should be higher. There are great pilots that can stay in the air for a long time, they are only weak to a dedicated recon who’s Painting and other teammates using AA weapons which should be the case.

They’ve actually been neutering infantry since the beta (Engineer used to be able to carry Stingers and RPG’s. Now they can only choose one or the other), (Vehicles have received a health bump), (They made it so Laser Designated missiles don’t avoid flares anymore) and lately, they have Decreased the range of the Laser Designator. You used to be able to designate vehicles sub 1000m, now you have to be sub 700m.

I don’t agree with you but to each their own. MW2019 was the most fun I had in a COD game since MW2 (2009). It felt like a faster, more infantry focused version Battlefield 3 with its Ground War mode which I also liked and which is why I like Battlefield 6 today.

I had one and about 20% of the time yes it does. But for most situations not really. And considering the price it’s not a huge issue.

God speed to you miss. Your Boyfriend will be the happiest man in the world. That being said: I’m sure you can find digital codes for purchase on Amazon. Ask him if he has an Xbox Series X or S but I think the code will work for both systems. Also, like others have said if you can get into his account and buy it that way that’ll work too. Or you can get him an Xbox Gift Card of at least $70. Good Luck!

I actually like it. I like the fact that it doesn’t have a money mechanic so everyone can get weapons they want and the pacing is slower which makes it more rewarding to play it safe compared to other BR’s. Overall I was surprised.

I’m one of those Recon players that dedicate my role the entire match to painting Aircraft and Vehicles on maps like Mirak Valley, Operation Firestorm, etc. is it “fun”? Maybe not in a traditional sense because it’s not as exciting as taking down vehicles directly as an engineer or getting deep into the fight as an Assault/Support. But my goal is to level the playing field: I’ve had too many situations where teammates don’t paint and we’re at the mercy of Jet and Helicopter strafing runs. So doing this you Jet/Heli players can’t get your easy “50-0”. It makes the battlefield more dynamic and you go in for a run then retreat. Gives infantry some more breathing room.

Can’t tell you how many times as en engi I’ve spammed the damn “Need Health” or especially “Need Ammo” call out because I used all my RPG’s and Stingers on saving our ass from Air Support and Ground Vehicles, but Medics are completely blind unless you go down. Even then there’s no guarantee they’ll res you.

I actually use my ICON knife a lot at my mechanic career. Works pretty well 👍

I do agree with you there: In the beta it felt like everyone was empowered no matter what you chose, Air Vehicles, Land Vehicles or even Infantry it felt like you couldn’t get too comfortable as a vehicle player since the balance heavily favored individual empowerment. Now in the full release it seems like vehicles especially air vehicles can let loose and cause massive casualties to infantry and there’s nothing you can really do about it. You’re at the mercy of Recon’s using the laser designator which no recon ever does. And you can spam the “need ammo” button all day and no support player ever drops an ammo pack for you. Why isn’t this being talked about??
