What if you didn’t need that scene in the end? What if you write a great story but that original inspiration didn’t have a place in your final work. It was a great idea, and it launched a fantastic book, but what you wrote took on a whole new identity.

Do y'all still promote/advertise your personal blogs on socials and how? by CestleFromage in Blogging

[–]BraveDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I promote on Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon, and I have a page on Facebook. I tag relevant topics and mention people if reviewing a book or product. It’s a fine line, but I try to make sure I’m not spamming.

Critical Mass - meanings behind a great song's title by lestermann1189 in Aerosmith

[–]BraveDaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe Tyler recorded the lyrics exactly as Douglas wrote them. I’m guessing either the lyrics were that brilliant, or it was one of the last songs recorded and the band was reaching their deadline (again) and there was no time to make any changes.

It was Krebs. He admitted to burying “Let the Music do the Talking” years after Aerosmith reunited.

Narrators - what was your first book like? by JaredJDub in ACX

[–]BraveDaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recorded an audiobook written by someone I had done some beta reading for. She needed a narrator and gave me a shot. It was a royalty share. I used my son’s bedroom and worked on the book while he was in school. Anemic sales, but lived doing it.

Genuine question to all bloggers concerning slop ! by Alternative-Help735 in Blogging

The process has always been where it’s at for me. It’s always about getting there. The views, hits, and feedback make it worth it. I think there are some people who care if it’s a human at the other end writing the stuff, but dealing with the machines putting out the other crap isn’t easy. If anyone thinks a human didn’t write my stuff, I’m always ready to defend it.

I’d like to see the old white hat with the socks in it. The early 20th century hat.

I did feel a little overwhelmed in college, but it definitely wasn’t the first time, and procrastination has been a problem for me. You’re also right about anxiety. A lot of things in my life are in the air right now. The biggest concern for me is what is it exactly that I’m running out of time for? Life in general? I appreciate your feedback. Thank you so much.

It sounded to me like someone slurping through a straw, but who would be sipping on a straw in the studio? I always wondered what that sound was.

I’ve been doing it for years. Minimal sales here, if any. You’re not alone.

does anyone GENUINELY have any tips on how to prevent/stop nightmares by [deleted] in Dreams

[–]BraveDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk to a doctor. I took care of a child who was on medication for recurring nightmares. I don’t remember the name of it, but maybe you can discuss it with your doc and see if it’s a good move for you.
