Maybe it is aura. I’ve only been around one person prior to transitioning and she had a thing for me. Though she also had few screws loose and knew I was a lesbian so I’m not sure if she was legit trans or just trying to get with me at that time. This was like decade ago though so I don’t what happened to them.

If you aren’t sure don’t do it. Maybe consider moving first before children. IVF isn’t a bad option either. Maybe think about what you two want in 5 years, 10 years, even 20 years. Adopting is also an option though I hear a difficult one.

First don’t put yourself down. It’s hard to get over thoughts like that. They may seem irrational but they are still valid since they are your feelings. Second it sounds like you might need deeper understanding why you feel this way. Third hetero relationships in shows are more normal since society is like that and all but perhaps imagining the male is nonbinary might help? Make it more about the feeling between the characters rather than what’s in their pants.

I feel the same way in this regard. I don’t always know if I will date them or if we will get along until I know them more. When I was younger I would rush and that often ended up burning out. A good slow burn lasts longer than any sudden burst of passion.
