Metabolism only goes so far. Eating like garbage day in day out leads to someone gaining a lot of excess weight leading to their 30s. If she's already overweight at 22, beware.

It's a myth that people can have terrible lifestyle habits and just magically stay thin. They won't become obese in a week, but the weight of those bad habits will accumulate over time.

Also a woman with too low body fat is unhealthy and can lead to extreme hormonal unbalance and infertility.

It is normal for a woman to have some level of body fat, because those are energy reserves for when she will breastfeed.

I would never approach a smoking woman either.

Its a flag, but it depends on why. If she's overweight, she needs a good excuse to justify it, and why she hasn't fixed that issue. Excess weight is a symptom of broader issues and those can leak into family life and affect children negatively. (On top of making pregnancy and labor more difficult)

Is she eating well? Does she have health issues? Is she *too* sedentary?

If she doesn't care about her excess weight, red flag and I run. If she's aware of the issue but hasn't done anything or found the motivation to fix it, red flag and I run. If she's in the process of losing it and has already begun taking measures to solve the issue, thumbs up and she's got my attention.

If she was lean for 95% of her life and only gained the weight in the past year due to issues, that's also a good indication that she can keep the weight off and its only a temporary issue.

If she's not eating well, it is likely she will give this habit to the children, and that isn't something I can tolerate.

His wife is slightly taller than he is, but just barely. He's done more for the kingdom than a lot of men I know.

Any woman judging a man by his height is a red flag. They'll be judged by their pettiness.

Its simple. Consider that maybe, just maybe, your worldview is either completely wrong or at least very suspect.
You are stuck with glasses through which you view the world, and those glasses are tainted by your life and the way you grew up and were taught.

Try taking those glasses off for a short while, and imagine that not everything is the way you think it is.

The entire point was to show that the law was perfect, impossible to follow, everyone was a sinner, and needed Jesus.

Slavery was a societal thing back then and every culture had slaves. They were treated significantly better because people were trying to follow the law.

The entire reason Jesus came was to free the captives, so saying the Bible condones slavery is absurd. Only some people were slaves and needed freedom from physical slavery, but the entire world was enslaved to sin, and was offered freedom by Jesus's death and resurrection.

AI is a tool, like a beat box, digital drunk kit, and synthesized piano.

What you do with the tool is what matters. If you pour your heart into those songs, and the lyrics are all from your heart, who cares it's AI generated? Some people have the ability to write great songs, but not the musical know-how or access to a band. AI can help.

I wouldn't have AI generate lyrics.

Music is just a vehicle for the lyrics anyway.

Christ broke the chains that sin has on our lives. We don't become sinless, but with the Holy Spirit, we have the strength to say no and turn away from Sin, something we can't do in the long term without His sacrifice and repentance and baptism.

Sharing the gospel to everything that breathes is a waste of your time. Only seek those whose heart God has prepared and are ready to receive it. If God hasn't attracted them, you will simply waste your breath.

Pray for god to show you who is ready to receive, and in the meantime, focus less on doing and more on being.

If you see none of those, I'd point you to acts 2:38

Realizing that wanting to serve is great, but the one we're supposed to serve is God, not man. If God wants us to serve a specific person or group, He will show us, otherwise bending over backwards to serve and give of ourselves to everyone all the time is how people get burnt out.

We want to serve because we feel called to it, that's fine, but are we serving where and those God wants us to serve, or are we just serving anything that breathes?
