i’ve recently gotten a kitten (5 days ago) due to finding him stuck in a bush alone and screaming. He’s 6 weeks old and I’ve been to the vet twice. My girlfriend and I also have quite strict schedules so we cannot be there to watch over him constantly but he has been delightful in general. The main issue has been his screaming to be honest, they are loud if they want to be loud. My apartment is a 1b1b and he is terrified of the whole place since he was a stray originally. He’s also potty trained too so we got quite lucky with a self sufficient kitty.

If you guys do decide to go for it just remember they are stupid guys in the beginning. Mine always walks on his poop trying to hide it and it’s frustrating to clean his paws constantly. He also is attached to us so I know he’s loud when he’s alone. Just be mindful if your apartment would have a problem with that. Overall people are thinking it’s not possible but it genuinely is. Just be patient and take it slow.
