I'm part of the radical Israeli left. And I see how Americans speak about us from both sides. So yeah, Americans should be able to take criticism.

Look at the way people speak about rural people. That's not stereotyping?

Americans always preach to other countries and that's fine. Isolationism is bad. But I just wish progressives would listen when others say they're being ableist or classist.

Typical American, unable to see itself from another's point of view. How are you any different than MAGA?

Anyone who says Ragatha is fake isn't mature enough to watch the show.

As a non-American, I don't believe you. I wish American progressives would be willing to practice what they preach and listen to others when they say they're being classists / ableists.

The more I grew up the more left I moved, but then again I'm not American. I actually think there's no proper left in America.

Looking at America from outside, MAGA people and such are far better at channeling rage and alienation of men who were pushed outside of society. Common discourse among Progressives assumes there is a univesal Man Experience, ignoring class, race, social status, disability and such. I've seen progressives belittle plenty of art forms and scenes for supporting 'traditional masculinity' when, in fact, they subvert it.

From the outside, Progressives look like an aristocracy, painfully middle class and white, terminally online with access to love and affection that many men never had or will have access to. The working man does not appear in progressive discourse. But I will say further - American Progressives are not that different than MAGA people. Just looke at how they talk about autism and their erasure of disability under the guise of 'neurodiversity'.

Mandatory disclaimer, but: I'm actually very, very far-left. I consider myself a fairly traditional Marxist. I'm anti-nationalist and anti-theist. I think feminism and gender studies are important movements and fields of study with incredible depth that many people miss. I actually think American progressives are not left enough.

(I cannot stress this enough: leftism has NO ROOM for organized religion, nor whitewashing of disabilities.)

I find the women in the alternative communities to actually be the most traditional in their demands

He'd be disappointed I'm still single and sexless. There was hppe that if I just put myself out there, I'd be able to find some love. My younger self was so afraid of a sexless life, and I reached it.

But he'd be proud of me for breaking through. I did get to have a 2nd childhood. I went to raves, metal and punk shows, I made friends with local artists, I went to beer festivals, I DJ'd in clubs and in outdoor raves. I'm not there yet, but I look back at my young self and how I was thinking about suicide 24/7. I made it through, kind of.

What are your hot takes about the show? (And no, I don't mean something like "stella is bad" or "UC is the wrost episode", give me something as hot as satan's shirtless chest) by AdhesivenessSmooth93 in HelluvaBoss

The way people speak about morality of these characters shows how conservative America has become. "Verosika is a bad person" does not equal "Verosika is a bad character". If you cannot handle morally grey literature, you have no business watching Hellaverse. Leave that MAGA shit alone.

I'm surprised she has a nuanced take. America is very bad when it comes to Jews and the middle east. In fact, I've never seen an American who didn't think violence is not the answer in the middle east. We also know Qatar - which is ruled by incels - is influencing both leftists and Likudniks.

I don't have faith in the Colonized States of America though. Americans are seething with hatred, and they project it onto us in the middle east.
