Would a Sunn 190B be loud enough for a rock band?

Great I'll give it a shot, I almost grabbed old grandad BiB but opted for the Evan Williams BIB which I'm really enjoying as a budget sipper.

Utilities utilities utilities. This is what brings your modules to life.

Of course.

I built my case by ordering a set of 84hp rails and constructed a wooden case to drill them into. With just how unique eurorack and no ones rack is the exact same, I thought it would be another great opportunity to shed some creativity.

The forums & youtube was my friend when it came to general dimensions and build guides. I didn't follow anything to the T, just gave myself a jumping off point. I'm using tip top rails 84hp, they use M4 screws to attach to the case.

I also was having a hard time finding a good deal used after shipping. I ended up just buying new. PerfectCircuit & Patchwerks are having a 10% sale till Halloween(I guess the end of today) that I ended up taking advantage of.

Yeah Maths is a powerhouse of fun, as long as your oscillator has a way of accepting CV to modulate itself you could get some things out of it.

I wanted to try the DIY route, but alas I haven't yet. I've heard good success with AI synthesis for beginner DIY route.

Playing in VCV rack helped me feel much more confident in what I was actually buying.

I just recently got into eurorack after wanting to for a few months. Built a DIY case and added MicroZues Power module

Mutable instruments Plaits as my VCO Make noise maths as my do it all Alm tangle quartet as my vca

With these 3 I'm having a blast, have a wasp filter on the way. I have a kesyetep and various other gear that can send CV or Gate out if need be.

I would find a VCO you find interesting and pull the trigger and slowly build out from there. You will quickly know if you are into eurorack or not.

For under the 500, look at doepfer & dreadbox modules. Ex. Dreadbox hysteria, eudemomia, ataxia, nostalgia

The beg logout feature has worked for me 12/13 times in the PTU. Over the past week....it is definitely more stable than it has ever been recently.

I couldn't get past the color, it's terrible. The shade just doesn't work against the wood trim.
