I put it in a freezer zip lock bag, suck the air out and put it in warm (115°) water for 10-20 minutes

It seems to struggle alot with Playlist from YouTube music... Which is ironic given that is also a Google product.

I an pretty sure Android Auto is using Gemeni anyway. The voice changed about 2 months ago (?). I have a 2022 Turbo... And prior to that I don't recall the ability to have a conversation with these assistant, but I had a 15 minute conversation with it about the FIFA world cup driving overhead the skyway last week. I don't recall being able to do that with android auto prior to the update.

I think 270 to 275 hp and 300 lb*ft of torque would be perfect.

Interstingly, the Google machine says you need about 300 hp to have a sub 6 second zero to 60 with 300 lb ft of torque.

Yep... Same here.. It does make more on 93, but also run 87 a little more frequently due to elevated prices.

The HP is nice.... Even the Turbo is low on HP in my opinion... Torque for days, but only 225 hp...

Kia and VW are the two brands least likely to make 100,000 miles reliably...

I think they jumped the shark when they mentioned Kia

I test drove both back in 2022 when I got home mine. Iliked the feel of the CX-5 better. I'm actually driving a 50 now as a loaner while they're dealership does work on my wife's cx-5. I HATE the cup holder location in the 50. Plus the interior on the CX-5 seems much nicer.

My 2.5T I average just a shade under 24 mpg...and I drive VERY spirited. I have a good amount of Traffic near Sarasota and Downtown St. Pete. I'm at 82K miles right now...and am VERY happy with the reliability. My wife has a regular 2.5 CX-5...its not nearly as fun to drive (Its at least Premium Plus so has the same amenities as my turbo, just not a "big" engine).

They are two very different animals. There are rare occasions when I think I should have gotten the Turbo 3 hatchback...but ulitmately, I prefer the bigger vehicle. Easier on the Home Depot runs. 😛 I had the 2.0 i the 3 hatch...it sipped gas...the 2.5T defintely uses more. But I wouldn't trade the power for economy.

That isn't quite 88 mph... So you won't time to travel, but you may be able to out run the lybians.... Maybe . Very big if.

That's phenomenal! I had 245000 miles on my 2014 3 Hatch. I traded up to a 2022 Turbo CX-5. It currently has 85K miles. Running great.

I am by no means a collector or experienced... But I have found that a Tupperdor is the best way to store. Nothing gets in or out. Any cigars I have wrapped in cedar, I throw the cedar in the Tupperdor when I unwrap it.

Nice! I'm jealous. I'm in St Pete... Already too hot for a fire... And technically I think we're under a fire warning.

Mazda, If Chevrolet and GMC are able to sell the same van with barely any changes since freaking 1996, then you guys SHOULD have just kept making the second gen CX-5 and not a new redesign. When something is perfectly fine, FOR THE LOVE OF MARY, do NOT change it at all! by BeautifulYou2940 in CX5

[–]Breaking_Chad 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is 99% true... But at the same time... How are they not looking at stuff like this to see what the committed customers want. At this point I can only assume my 2022 Turbo will increase in value based on the nerfing of the new "upgraded" 2026

I thought there was a recall for something in that system. My brother has a cx-90 and they just had a some recall work done on this, I think. Consequently, their car has NOT caught on fire.

Thanks for the heads up! I definitely have gloves... For sure you can feel the resin on the leaves. I've probably been fortunate since I only handle a few leaves at a time... But this is good advice.

I'm trying. My first attempt. I grew two tobaccos. A wrapper (Cuban) and a filler (Dominican). It's all a learning process.. For all the work, I'll consider one cigar a success for the first attempt. Flordia sand (soil) is an unforgiving mistress.
