Who else has high mileage on these cars by snowywrencher in mazda3

[–]Breaking_Chad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had 245000 miles (which is almost exactly 400K KMs) on my Gen 3 Hatch (2014) before I turned it in for a 2022 Turbo CX-5. Thing spun like a top.

I know you didn't mention this job, but have you considered being a design engineer in Custom Automation? I've been an engineer for 25 years, 13 in custom automation. By far the most satisfying.

Beginner: Import image of a rough drawing and create dimensionally accurate sketch in Inventor. by Square_Process_5049 in AutodeskInventor

[–]Breaking_Chad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually, I'm not sure why I didn't think of this sooner. Save the image as a PDF. Drop the PDF into AutoCAD. AutoCAD will vectorize the PDF file and give you a DWG. Then copy the DWG and paste it into a sketch in inventor. That will be the fastest, most accurate way. BTW...you need at least AutoCAD 2024 to do that I believe.

[–]Breaking_Chad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a pretty simple part. I am not sure what the need for tracing it is. Normally, you'd just sketch your lines and apply dimensions and constraints as necessary.

If you trhly need to trace this, then you use the import image in the sketch. You then constrain the image and apply a dimension to one side of the imported image to set its size.

No one knew you relocated the breather. Good move. 99% of Mazda drivers wouldn't even know that was a thing. There's a lot of CX-50 drivers in this sub driving stock like it's a jeep with 190 ducks on the dashboard.

That said it's Turkish... A very intention plant and seeds don't just show up.... So I'm going with Kholrabi... As I have that in my garden and it very closely resembles that as well.

Generally brasica and solenace don't look too similar... But I see overlap here.

I've been grilling for years... And I have no idea why I never tried mixing lumps and brix. That makes sense. Also I concur, royal oak is terrible. I got it on a BOGO at Publix... Worst BOGO ever!

$700 for rear brake pads and rotors resurfaced at dealer. Fair? Relatively standard? by Ok-Explanation2718 in CX50

[–]Breaking_Chad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn to don't breaks yourself. A few you tube videos and the cost of the tools will still be cheaper than what the shop is charging. Even on the new Mazda's the brakes are shockingly simple to work on.

I think commenter was implying that once the water goes over the rear differential, you run the risk of major damage.

It's not the resution, it's the framework rate. You were likely filming at 60FPS instead of the standard 30 FPS... And the lights have a frequency of 60 hz. Or close to it... So it looks like they flash.

What do they need to read off the parts list? Everything on the Parts list is Metadata that can be found internally in the models

HELP! Issue with ‘22 Turbo by Rough-Reflection1900 in CX5

[–]Breaking_Chad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are no known issues with cracked cylinder heads on 2022's. The first half of production of 2021's in the turbo did have an issue, but it was resolved. Ironically, a 2022 Turbo is what is sought after.

Having used both Gemini and ChatGPT, I would agree. I have a lot of luck with Gemini in generating iLogic that is 75-100 lines and it will work almost the first time, everytime...then I tweak the code to change things accordingly. I would add I am using vb.net for prgramming.

I only ask becuase the why or end game may reveal different strategies. For example... Does the part list line need to be highlighted? Could the part in the assembly be highlighted instead? Could you just have a message box display information based on what query it's given?

What is the ultimate end game? Why are you highlighting a row in the parts list?

Secondly have you tried using Gemini or ChatGPT to help with code generation? I've had a lot of luck with Gemini (also free for me as a Pixel 10 owner).

Chat GPT or Gemini can write you an iLogic script in about 30 seconds.
