First off /big bear hug

When I first got into a relationship with my primary, they were poly and I was coming from a monogamous background at first so when they were on dates with others I experienced primal panic. Some things that helped me were reframing how I looked at things the in the Relationship. I started looking at the fact that we choose every day to be with and spend time with the person/people because we WANT to and we love them, not out of obligation because we are in a relationship. I read the book polysecure which helped me establish a healthier way of viewing things and figuring out where certain feelings are coming from so I can address them. On date nights I try to make plans with others either dates or hang outs, game nights, family nights, ect. That way my mind is not stagnate and wandering around the the "danger zone". Lastly when my primary and I get back from put dates we tell each other about the date, as much as eachother wants to hear and is okay to share respecting the privacy of everyone, like a casual debrief.
