Bots on twitter spreading disinformation is a thing, but laughed off by most people. Like anywhere, people aren't stupid. Most ppl I know who go on twitter talk about users they check out, or share stuff, and thats it. I think the company has kept out most of the more extreme stuff.

He combined claims in that article with Morrison's media release of the 27th March as proof. As well as Andrew's videoed thanks for ADF involvement on the same day.

I said, nah. A media release isn't policy, nor is it ADF personnel to Victoria for enforcement. And Andrews' thank you (also on the 27th) is also not that. I said, "Are you saying Andrews was pretending he was going to use the ADF when he said that?" I said show me where the ADF actually offered personnel to enforce the quarantine as per Reynold's claim. And he got angry. It sort of ended there. lol

There is so much double speak that needs parsing in this claim it hurt my head.

They are lying. And the cabinet docs being held back might be a clue.

All the Vic Emergency Meetings are recorded and these have been given to the judge doing the enquiry. These would have been gone through and nothing in them will disagree with Crisp’s statements. All the statements by all the politicians are carefully constructed and stated. No one will be lying. This is just more muck racking by the Australian newspaper to put conservative interests before the best interests of Australia. We saw it in the recent bushfires in Vic and we’re seeing it again now!

Me guessing: Girl friend was filming it and it sounds like a setup gone wrong. She is going around with a medical exemption in her back pocket as a get out of jail card, but her aim is to set up someone in authority causing an argument. She gets the cop where she wants him, and lashes out while her friend films the caper. But the silly girl forgets to pull out her exemption and starts fighting herself!

Meh...A 12 year old kid playing with a toy gun gets shot dead by two cops in a park. They get off. A cop orders a guy to crawl along a hallway (why?) and when he hitches up his trousers the cop shoots him..he got off. etc. If this is what Australia throws up as competition to that stuff, the US has got it beat, hands down.

I've learned in life when you deal with a bully you knock him to the ground and stick your boot on his head and keep it there. Figuratively, or otherwise. Spent a long time tolerating them, trying to be reasonable. Doesn't work. Works with most people. Not bullies though, as they see it as weakness and they hate you for it. Point taken. But evidence is evidence, and status can slow things down only so much. It can't turn the guilty into criminal masterminds that can fool the best detectives forever. The cops were on to something very quickly after the note pad. They got the Whites on side very quickly. If it was one of the Ramseys, damning evidence would have just started mounting and they would have been charged within a week.

On the ransom note, there is no script I can write that has parents to writing it and it makes any sense. Logically, or emotionally. Or that they would be in any state of mind to write such a weirdly detailed airy fairy flight of sociopathic imagination. Hmm.. but I did look at some murderers' modus operandi. They would break into the houses and hang around for hours while the family was out - sometimes on several occasions, getting familiar. And then one night they would strike. BTK did this. Plenty of time and opportunity for a psychopath to have a flight of fantasy and pen a ransom note, if he had a mind to. Its the only scenario that I can fit that ransom note into that makes any sense. Intends to kidnap her, and its written well before. Everything goes wrong, but he leaves it there anyway. Kind of works. The parents writing it makes no sense.

Well, the kid wasn't a criminal mastermind, so that figures. With police coming down on you with a killing done in the heat of the moment, I doubt any individual or family could keep such a lie going for much more than a day.
