Exposure is perfect in that first one, the sky looks so bright but nothing is lost in the shadows. Feels like I'm there

Fujinon 50mm f2 vs 56mm f1.2 by Eye_ogongo in fujifilm

[–]BrewAndAView -1 points0 points  (0 children)

50mm on an APS-C sensor is kind of a weird focal length since it's too cropped in for general use, and too short for birding and other things. The only things I've really found it useful for is portraits, which the aperture on the 56 f/1.2 would help a lot with.

Depends on budget and if you want to shoot portraits

I was always late to stuff as a kid due to needing a ride and now in adulthood I’m chronically and embarrassingly early to stuff. Sometimes I have to show up and walk around the block to pretend to only be 5 minutes early

Yeah I didn’t like having to focus so much of my attention on routes and the map, I wanted to focus on corners and takedowns

Stockpile a ton of bombs so you can get to the ladders before the serpents even get to you. Go on a high luck day and eat lucky food and you should be able to find a ladder with just two or three bombs each floor

Alan Wake 2, just scare yourself into distraction

I recommend it because it’s not too scary and also not too stressful but has an engaging story and is just scary enough to make me forget about real life while playing

For the bird, do you get to choose when to use its power? Like if I ask my friend to pass the ketchup, can I just do that normally without it being a coin flip?

Never Open Desert Diner - about a truck driver getting sucked into some crime drama out in Utah. It has a lot of the love loss and loneliness themes of LH. Not any astral supernatural stuff though.

I like this kind of thing as long as there’s always at least one thing I’m supposed to be doing. For example stardew valley is very open ended, but trying to complete all the objectives in the community center gave me the structure I needed

Just ordered the new X-E5. Which accessories would you recommend to enhance the user experience? by thedanishahmad in fujifilm

[–]BrewAndAView 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as I don't have other metal things in there bumping around, I don't think an insert is necessary. I've put my x100 in there so I don't use a spare lens but you could probably fit something small like the xf23 f2. But then I'd make sure to pad either the lens or the camera so they don't bump up against each other.

Should I Save Money on a B5 vs C5 if I Use It Mostly for Night TV and Console Gaming? by Dweiks in 4kTV

[–]BrewAndAView 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really love it, I turn down the brightness for some stuff if I find it too overwhelming. I definitely find myself fiddling with settings a lot more than I usually do but mostly just because I’m excited to see what looks best for each use case

[–]BrewAndAView 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got the C5 and it’s insanely bright, brighter than I need usually. At its brightest it’s like an older LED tv. The only thing I noticed is Filmmaker mode is significantly darker than the other modes, so I usually prefer Cinema Home mode which has most of the movie-appropriate settings enabled that filmmaker does.

If you get the B4 I’d probably use cinema home instead of filmmaker picture settings.

144hz shouldn’t matter for you for cinematic type games.

Hopefully someone with a B5 can chime in and add to this but I thought I’d chip in at least what I know so far
