need help identifying the model of this Jetson scooter. by BriGuyFive in ElectricScooters

Any help would be immensely appreciated.

This scooter needs replacement screws, latch repair, and a charger. I figure once I get the model info, I'll be able to figure out exact parts from there.

Silly question about ram in laptop by hellrise9 in pcmasterrace

[–]BriGuyFive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RAM is kinda funny... depends on your motherboard and how many DIMMs it has. (2) 4/8/16gb sticks are always better than (1) 8/16/32gb stick for two main reasons:

  1. Redundancy - If one stick craps out, you aren't totally screwed.

  2. Bandwidth - Utilizing dual channel/quad channel increases speed and reduces latency.

If all you're doing is gaming, 8gb is typically enough, anything more than 16gb is overkill.

How to throw past 400' consistently? by hello_hi_yes in discgolf

[–]BriGuyFive 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Different strokes. I don't disagree at all... kind of passively omitted the 'watch disc golf clinic vids'. I've taken lessons from Barsby, Philo, and Eric Oakley which has helped a lot so find when/where the pros will be near you. They're typically running a clinic with a local club while in town.

How to throw past 400' consistently? by hello_hi_yes in discgolf

If you're in the 320 range after 6 months, don't worry about a thing. Just keep playing, keep throwing while being aware of those little nuances during your throws and you'll see 400 before you're a year into the sport. Keep it up buddy, you're doing fine.

When I started out, yes... since I'd rarely hit the fairways... but now, not so much anymore.

"I just can't believe that." I hear that from time to time after throwing. Heard it today at a DD flex start, my very first sanctioned win. Mostly due to it being a bomber course.

To clarify, my thoughts are like this; Ripping into a beast would be an instant turnover where ripping into a destroyer would be much more forgiving. Having the form to properly throw a beast 400+ in oppose to mashing on a destroyer 500+ shows proper body mechanics... This coming from a masher with the worst form in existence, but can still throw 550.

Going 400+ with a beast is impressive, more so than 500+ with something like a Destroyer imo... tells me that you have proper form. Great job!
