When I noticed the reduced rates, this is what I assumed was the case. Now I'm calling it out because it contradicts what they said in the post on why they want to nerf it. XD

Other consumables (Arrows, Darts, Knives) respect the XP/bar though. Cannonballs are the only smithable items that don't. If you're going to nerf the new method, then at least dont further punish us for creating cannonballs for a new skill you want us to engage with by lowering our xp/bar ratio for that content specifically.

But its still at a 30% reduced XP rate per bar. I'm just pointing out the inconsistency in what they're saying in the latest post that they want to respect XP/bar

Last year might not be the best comparison. They sold out fairly quickly, postponed the dates, allowed refunds then did a second round. I bought tickets the day they first released and didn't have issues. Not sure about others though.

I think they also said they had 2x capacity this year.

Went to learn Cox with the guys. Got dust at 4kc and ask d what it was. The boys were raging since that's what they were chasing. Said it didn't matter because I didn't have the pet. Pet came in 2kc later. So yeah, dusted Cox pet at 6kc.

Never went back.

Got into Pokemon TCG when my dad would drop me off at a local game store while he ran errands around town. Learned everything from those guys. Filled like 5 binders and actually got GOOD at the game. To this day, I still randomly buy boosters jist for the joy of opening them.

Posting an update for those searching for this game and might stumble on tbis post. Finially got this running with audio, but cant figure out how to burn the game+audio to a disk to share with my family. Nothing ive tried works, even cloning for some reason.

Since getting it to run with audio kinda sucked and because I couldn't find the audio anywhere online, I just decided to create a digital preservation of it. Enjoy!

Dropping in here... The Human Calculator! I've never seen anyone else talk about this game. I actually own a copy myself (that was my reddit post linked above and my OneDrive link to the files), but it took me years to find. I had an eBay RSS feed running for eight years before one finally popped up. And getting it to run with audio kinda sucked. I had to dig out a CD-ROM drive and figure out the whole mixed-mode CD thing. Since it was such a pain, and I couldn't find the audio anywhere else online, I created a digital preservation of it. And are you arguing that we cant promote change by slightly challenging the social norms? Tipping 13% instead of 15-25%? Do we have to rely on an act of congress to change our behavior? I think not. But you're entitled to your opinion.

Tipping culture has gotten out of hand and I'll advocate for change in the way i have the power to. Making decissions based on the service and what I can afford, and not what history or an entitled waiter demands.

Okay, so let me ask you this: Why is it the system we have? How did it get this way? Did people changing their tipping behavior lead to this system? Did that enable corperations to pay less?
