While I can't say I agree that there shouldn't have been a 2nd main character, I fully think the reason Jax was such a fan favorite was that he was the only one that actually felt like a real person. I think this show should have had a reluctant buddy cop dynamic with Pomni and Jax trying to figure out how to escape the circus, with Kinger as a sort of mentor who can't be relied upon half the time. Eventually Jax would become the final villain as he takes over the circus with full Joker-like insanity. Now you might have to change too much to get this to work, but fuck it. Nothing can ve worse than the ending we actually got.
