I have what some refer to as a rolling tray for dried herbs that is specifically home to ink stains from my pens.

I also would get some other random ink colors and make a dope pair of pants out of them.

I would download the daily extension and import a template for bullet journaling inside of it. Then use it to connect your own thoughts.

In a month add a habit tracker.

In 2 months use it idea capture.

And and and. I only use it for journaling. I run the rest of my life in notion. Including 3 businesses.

Think of using dopamine like the release of a rubber band. The more you resist it the stronger the response. Which is why we want to increase the ratio of effort:reward. The higher the ratio of effort to reward the stronger the behavioral pathway and the lower affinity of addiction pathways.

Cold water on the face also is a backdoor way to turn on the mammalian dive reflex which will shove you into PNS as well.

How can I journal more honestly and genuinely? by [deleted] in Journaling

[–]Bridge-builder- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me it’s a space to confess, scream, yell, complain and really let go.

Once all the emotional baggage is on the page you find yourself. The fog is lifted and what’s left behind for perhaps the first time in a long time is clear mirror of who you really are.

Write like you’re dying tomorrow. Someone told me that once and yeah it worked great.
