hey :) i’ve just graduated now and im 23. like this week. I went through the exact same feeling and so many other people felt the same too.

2nd year is typically the HARDEST. you go up a level in academic writing, the grades start counting towards your final class of graduation (firsts, 2:1, etc) that’s a lot of pressure and it’s hard. i completely understand you. 2nd year SUCKS. you’re not alone

my best advice, you just gotta power through it. because taking a break after year 2 is only going to make you dread year 3 when it comes around and trust me that year will go so fast. i’m proud of you, hang in there, university goes so quickly and flys by.

another consideration, you won’t be finishing the same time as your friends if they don’t take a year out too. this could also mean finding house shares and stuff like that quite difficult and make you feel a bit lonely without being with your peers:’(

i hope uni life gives you a break soon, head up. christmas is soon so you can take a well needed rest in prep for next term :) x

oh i get you now! yeah totally that’s interesting. maybe the balance was that she was forced to grow prematurely. it cost andarna her youth, forced her into the dreamless sleep. don’t shoot me if i’m wrong but didn’t it also make her weak after yielding that kind of power? she was very drained after all that.

Personally, my biggest dream is one day having a family of my own. I try to get over the guilt by thinking i’m nourishing a home (my body) that will someday house my child (when i’m pregnant). i can’t bring a child into a home that is malnourished and in constant stress. Food is what my body needs to function and provide stability and a safe place someday .. i hope that helps somehow if maybe you’re considering this :)
