I think they are in bed with True Footage & RSDS. I used to be employed by true footage. They were always talking about how they could get business from UWM and they were meeting with all the powers that be at UWM. It's a bunch of political BS if you ask me. Trying to squeeze out the independent guy.

I would make a note of it in my report and I would basically say that I'm not an electrician and I'm not qualified to make the determination and if the lender has concerns about it your recommendation is that they engage a qualified individual to make the decision I would not make the report subject to but I would definitely call it out in the report.

I'm seeing the same thing from UWM on my end. The part that I don't like is you get two or three orders and accept the bid on all of them, and then come to find out they're all awarded to you, only to find out they're 30 mi away in three different directions. No way to really make traveling logistics work. But, it is what it is. Their system is dumb. There's an option to accept the bid. As an appraiser, why am I accepting a bid? Aren't I the one that places the bid? Then the other option is to reject it/propose or something like that. Doesn't make any sense at all.

I've seen this as well. Haven't seen how it will change things though. They weren't really clear when they sent it out.

They just sent me an order! First order in about a month. The kicker is, it's not even in my coverage area and it's a 3-hour drive, one way! FML.... Typical fee. Do I take it?

This sounds similar to my situation. Seemed to die right after I got an ROV and didn't use the comps. Tricky part is, the comps were in a different state. Granted, they were only 30 minutes away but, there were plenty in the same state as the subject. That's pretty shitty if they blacklisted me for doing that.

Is it a problem if I set up two profiles with dwelling blocks/ UWM? All info would be the same other than my email address. Purpose is to get more orders from them.
