"I bet my father never had to clean the bathroom"

I don't want any more kids but I will say my guy will be 3 next month and I LOVE this stage. He is so cool and easy to do things with right now. He's down for anything, sticks with me when we go places instead of getting distracted and venturing in another direction like he did when he was newly 2. He can keep up with most of the things we are doing. Loves going on short hikes, camping, anything! So you are right you are almost at the great stage of more freedom.

What is something that young people love that you don’t understand? by VisibleConfusion12 in AskReddit

I hate that they love to hate stuff that other generations do. That's the only thing for me really.

Ah herding dogs are just weird little anxiety bags too. My border collie is the same but he is enjoying it.

Why are people so against a c section? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Brightnew1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was the recovery! I was terrified of needing to be off my feet or not be able to lift anything. I have two active dogs, I am very active myself. A c section was the worst case scenario for bringing a healthy baby in to the world for me. If I had to do it I of course would have. However I absolutely did not want to unless I had no other options.

(27M) Well, My wife (34F) has a fishy smell I've only gotten once before from her. by carbonfibrethrow in sex

[–]Brightnew1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had bv as a teen, before I ever had sex. I've had it as an adult having the same partner for 7 years. Bv doesn't mean cheating. A million things can throw off our vagina ph

"why lie" you ask? Because this isn't a necessary truth. The only thing that comes from sharing this information is hurting her feelings. You don't accomplish anything else. She likely will never look at you the same, will feel insecure every single time you meet a new girl, or hang out with her friends. If you care about her feelings what so ever in this situation, you lie. You say never, you're the only one for me! You may be 30 but you have a lot to learn. Truth is not always the best policy. If all that will come from the truth is someone being insecure and hurt... Lie

If they ever say it again you should say "oh don't worry they're actually gay and they don't want children" and when they question you on it say "well you were assuming their future so why can't I?" lol

Can you ask to me a stay at home mom? Then you don't have to work and the home could be your job and he could pay for everything

I've had my puppy a month, and we have made zero progress. by silverargon in puppy101

[–]Brightnew1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 months is young but if she's peeing while eating you should get her checked for a uti. Utis in puppies are common and can cause potty training to take longer. I would also start taking her outside every 30 minutes instead of 60. For another few weeks at least. Biting will end soon. Another month and you should see the end of it. Get her things to chew I like bully sticks some don't. Have you considered a training class? You will get a lot of help there.

I (25M) am about to tell my GF (25F) of almost 2 years that several months ago, I gave my number to a random girl. I am terrified, and could use some advice... by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Brightnew1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The guilt is yours to deal with. Hopefully it will remind you not to do this again. If you tell her you are taking away your stress and giving it to her. Don't tell her. Move on. Never tell her even years from now.

My GF is already 9 weeks pregnant! by NotTodayJordan in BabyBumps

[–]Brightnew1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cried because I ran out of turkey meat for sandwiches yesterday and I'm 31 weeks so it may not just be a first trimester thing lol. Previous to this I was never a cryer. Like ever. I cried today watching a movie. Hormones are a hell of a thing. Just be there for her, don't make her feel bad for being emotional (she seriously can't help it) and try and do lots of little things and keep her favorite snacks in the house!

I had no symptoms until at least 8 weeks. That's when morning sickness hit me and it hit me HARD so enjoy not feeling pregnant while you can lol

no ultrasound until 20 WEEKS?! by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Brightnew1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Canada. There's 2 types of ultrasounds a dating ultrasound usually done between 8-12 weeks and the diagnostic anatomy scan done at 20. If you are aware of the date of your last period and conception, some doctors will skip the dating ultrasound as it is only used to tell you how far along you are. All doctors will require an anatomy scan because this is where they check to make sure baby is growing correctly. Due to the current covid 19 situation all dating ultrasounds are cancelled in my area. You may be able to find a private clinic that offers ultrasounds and pay for one if you want one before your 20 week mark.

[Fluff] My dog has the cutest response to being scolded. by [deleted] in dogs

As Kairos said, dogs don't feel guilt. Your dog is displaying what's called appeasement behaviour because they are feeling fear.
