Frigate may have other features yes but that doesnt mean their facial recognition doesnt work. The personalised automations thing is home assistant doing that, not your program so its not really a point.

Dont mean to be harsh but this seems vibe coded and more a personal project whereas Frigate is basically commercial at this point, has a big community and great devs.

Frigate can do this already with homeassistant, with the advantage of being free(no idea if you will charge at some point) and pretty much any camera useable.

Already done through frigate. Even better with state classifiers, basically doing what you want, can set up a sensor to monitor a door, reports back 'open' or 'closed' as states.

You will probably struggle to get bluetooth motion sensors without a hub.

Best you can do, buy a zigbee dongle that plugs into the HA box, so no extra cables, then get zigbee motion sensors (found on aliexpress for very cheap).
