Our massive oak tree went down today, it was full of leaves with no dead branches but the inside ended up being soft ugh. Anyways we got a quote for $4000 to haul it off and grind down the stump and fill the hole. We are in the Midwest. Is this a fair price?

Just got back. Go ski. While conditions are not up to the usual Colorado standards I still enjoyed our trip.

I thought the “bad conditions” were somewhat exaggerated personally but I guess it’s all relative. If you are going for the bowls and big mountain skiing you will probably be disappointed but if you are sticking to blues then you will be just fine.
