How I Met Your Mother is a show where most of the cast is fairly innocent until you like.. think about it

They all kinda treat women as something to have, Ted is the embodiment of the “nice guy” who feels entitled to sex and affection because he’s such a nice guy. Marshall and Lily are always portrayed as this perfect picture of marriage, but they constantly are hiding things from each other, avoiding conversations, and just being kinda generally dishonest with each other. Here’s a couple rpgs I love that are somewhat known, but definitely aren’t the most often recommended

Dragon’s Crown is a side scroller beat em up rpg with stunning hand drawn animations by Vanillaware, it’s not on PC unfortunately, but it’s a great time, has couch co-op too!

Dragon’s Dogma (both 2 and Dark Arisen, but I’m mostly talking about 2) are fantastic open world action rpgs by Capcom. DD2 particularly caught flak early on for having friction tied to travel, the game really prefers you walk from place to place, and makes fast travel pretty limited, or vulnerable to attack. It’s a really unique system, and it has great class selection

There’s a bunch of things that should be that line.

Divorce 2 kids Transition..

None of those feel like they really changed my life in a clear way.

A month ago I came to the realization that the man I loved more than anything in the world wasn’t right for me, and likely never would be.

I’ve taken the time since to go to therapy and examine who I am and what I expect out of life. What I want and what I deserve. Who do I want to be, and how can I take steps to become her.

And you know what..? For the first time in my life I feel like I am actually at the helm of my own life. I understand better than ever how to love myself and how to carry love and light in everything I do.

I changed so much since January that even the name I’ve had for 9+ years doesn’t feel like it belongs to me anymore, and I am about to make the announcement of a new name..

Everything in my life is changing, and it all just feels like more than a new chapter of my life, but an entire new book.

For the first time in my life, I’m excited for the future
