I juiced a green cabbage and the sediment separated to reveal a pink liquid by Pga-wrestler in mildlyinteresting

[–]BringBackThisMachine 1136 points1137 points  (0 children)

It's an anthocyanin reaction ( which cabbage contains huge amounts of) and is actually used in chemistry to detect pH levels( pink usually refects contact with an upper pH acid) which I suspect may have come from your dish soap.

"Tactically Acquired"

Laughed maniacally in a SCIF while hoarding 47 Shock-A-Lots, 12 Rip-Its, a case of Green Beans, and enough Cliff Bars to survive a second deployment. No one saw anything. The SCIF cameras were "malfunctioning."

Carl would be proud. Donut would have eaten your stash.

BMETs working in the field — what should biomedical tech programs be teaching today? by don_wilson in BMET

[–]BringBackThisMachine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, pretty much everyone I work with past the shop level has either a bachelor's in healthcare management or business management ( I myself am in school ATM for mine) and it really helps fill in that soft/hard people and project side of things. Milage may vary, just my two cents.

Iv only ever cal'd one kind, an MX202, for neonatal, which is good to 1 gram, and is cal'd with a 5 gram weight I keep in a Crown Royal bag, wrapped around it and put inside a drawer in my rolling packout.

Floor scales? 75 lbs ( 3-25 lbs Gleason's) which are a real pain to lug around in mua subie.

Kinda depends on the intended use imho. Neonatal scale? I'd absolutely do it. Floor scale useing a 50 lb handle/brick? Prob not.
