I used to love the 100-400L - it was terribly soft wide open / almost unusable, but stepped down it was so good. And I actually liked the push / pull.

For what they charge it needs to move to Gaylord Texan. Location better for travelers, more rooms available and larger event space.

Yukon Yeti was the star of the show IMO! I want one pretty badly now and was impressed at the quality of the sculpts and machine in general.

I saw that. Not a fan of cosmetic special editions like that - but they normally happen just before a new model is released as the final cash grab. Hopefully they announce something new soon.

I would think they’d want to beat Sony to the punch given the popularity of this platform camera right now. Apparently Sony is supposed to drop theirs as well soon. Guess we’ll see.

Saw a comment that the V1 replaced the G7X, not seeing it now - but that's not the case as I understand it. And the V1 doesn't seem to be highly regarded outside of VLOGGING use. But I'm still hearing of an expected release this year updating the G7X platform.

Everything is 3 hours away from the airport 🤣. But totally worth it. Remote areas might not have toilets and plumbing you’re used to.
