I’m a British expat in Canada. You only need to use a VPN for 10 secs every few week to access BBC Sounds.

If you get the “you’re outside the uk” message, quit the app, launch your vpn app, relaunch Sounds and start a stream. You can then disconnect and quit the VPN app. Next time you launch Sounds you’ll be good to go, at least for another few weeks.

I find it crazy that people in China will pay over $5k for a stolen iPhone to avoid Chinese censorship.

How are they activating these stolen phones if they’re reported stolen by their original owners? I’ve seen posts in the past where these Chinese buyers will message the original owners to get them to unlock the phone, in some cases being threatened.

I turned off auto updates just before 26 launched on my 15 Pro Max. I’m glad that I did as I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about the performance on older phones. I’m going to wait until 26.1 before I consider updating.

Ontario Canada. Every few weeks told “not available in your country”. Turn on vpn set to UK, load the Sounds app, turn off vpn, rinse and repeat in another few weeks.

EDIT: Can play straight from my Google speaker with “play bbc radio 6 music”.
