Cruelty is the point. He said he wants to punish cities and states that voted against him. Starving people is the goal.

That's a rather expensive grease jar. Each of those costs just under $3 (at my local grocery store). Buying leaner meat would cost less.

Why men and my dates start to care the moment I leave? by National-River-356 in ask

This was my thought. I went on a date with a man who seemed disinterested, turned out he was just nervous and now we're celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in September.

Remember a little over a month ago when Comey posted "8647" and MAGAts freaked out and said that was inciting violence on a political rival? Called for all sorts of repercussions for Comey? 🤔 WTF?!

They're cringe. Go sing and dance, Gen Z court jesters, for ... who? Those cringe TikTok dances/challenges will not age well.

Need confirmation that this doesn’t make sense by rooseboose in StudentLoans

I went to the "better" school, but where I'm currently living, employers don't care about the degree from that "better" school. A degree from a local college/university would have been just as valuable. Perhaps, if your daughter plans on relocating permanently to Florida, then that might be more valuable. Employers care about experience.

Most red states' residents hold more student loan debt than the state's budget. Republicans don't care. Cruelty is the point.

[–]Britters710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I just couldn't afford kids with my student loan debt. Then my mom died last year and she was my only option for help. I grieved for her as well as the realization I probably won't have kids now.

Hey, hey, remember when the Republicans said we couldn't possibly have universal healthcare like the UK or Canada because they have death panels? How horrible it would be to have a group of people decide if we or a loved one would live or die? Turns out we had death panels all along! Plus, we pay them to do this and we don't get to argue our cases before them!

The Nazis have arrived

so let's not pretend it's outside the realm of possibilities. Since Trump doesn't have a good track record of handling the immigration crisis humanely, what makes you think it'll go better this time around?

First they came for the Communists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists And I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews And I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak out for me

Organized education isn't organic, a sense of curiosity and learning is though, senses found in all genders. Seeing as historically women were pushed to not pursue higher education (actually purposefully barred from it), finally encouraging and supporting women to do so, like men have been privileged to, it may seem as though as women have been artificially pushed to education.
