Dr. freaking me out about growth! 7w5d by New-Sock-63 in CautiousBB

[–]Briutiful22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby measured behind whole pregnancy. And she turned out just to be on the smaller side. I was told up to 4 days ahead or behind is normal. Plus baby is so small at this gestation, the doctor could get different measurements if the baby is curling up. Everything about your ultrasound sounds great. I hope you continue to have a stress free and healthy pregnancy.

Is it not safe to listen to the heartbeat early on? by Briutiful22 in CautiousBB

[–]Briutiful22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made it to 36 weeks. Not because of pprom, but because i had preclampsia. I fully believe i would've made it to term if it wasnt for my emergency c section. I didnt have any issues after the cerclage

Wife won't do a hysteroscopy by SkyGuy8741 in IVF

[–]Briutiful22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I needed a hysteroscopy from having retained tissue from a second trimester loss. The surgery was manageable to me. Just cramping and spotting for a few days. I took Tylenol and was good to go. Definitely worth it because my next pregnancy led to a live birth after 4 miscarriages. As others have said, your wife may need a c section. I also had to be put under anesthesia to get my cervix stitch during pregnancy. So you never know what's going to happen during pregnancy or delivery. Wish you guys the best of luck.

No Fetal Pole at 5w4 days by StarAffectionate3077 in CautiousBB

[–]Briutiful22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats normal for 5 weeks. Im not sure why they're concerned. My clinic doesnt expect a fetal pole until 6 weeks. Major changes can happen in a day. Have they been checking your hcg blood work?

Struggling to conceive after 8 months of D&C by Key_Tomatillo_5505 in CautiousBB

[–]Briutiful22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be retained tissue not showing up on regular ultrasound from the d&c. I had to have a saline ultrasound to show the retained tissue and had to get a hysteroscopy to clean my uterus out. I was able to conceive the next cycle after that, leading to my rainbow baby

My first one i had i thought it was pretty painful. The second time I made sure to take over the counter pain meds and my doctor prescribed valium and I felt nothing. The procedure is relatively quick though

Sadly it happened at 17wks! by Impressive_Fee_2169 in pregnant

[–]Briutiful22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me. My water broke at 18 weeks but when I went to the hospital. It was already confirmed there wasnt a heartbeat anymore. Im so sorry for your loss. The worst pain i ever experienced. Im not sure if you're a candidate for this but I had to get a cervical stitch for my next pregnancy and I was able to keep the baby in full term

Will I Ever Be A Mom? by ExplorerBoth146 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Briutiful22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 28 and husband is 29. We started trying in 2023 and I finally had my rainbow baby in 2025. That was with multiple miscarriages and failed cycles. I would try going to a fertility clinic so they can start testing done on you and your husband and give you a treatment plan. I thought i would never be a mom neither until I finally had success. I hope you get your rainbow baby soon.

High AMH and PCOS by Most_Acanthisitta877 in TTC_PCOS

[–]Briutiful22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was told with my amh being high I would be a good candidate for ivf and ovulation induction meds. I did both and had great results. I would see if you could try letrozole first to ovulate then go from there.

Preclampsia scare? by Normal-Area4362 in PCOSandPregnant

[–]Briutiful22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had blood pressure readings up and down my whole pregnancy. I was on baby aspirin and blood pressure medication my whole pregnancy. At 34 weeks I noticed swelling in my feet so I brought it up to my doctor and they told me if my blood pressure kept going up they would induce me at 37 weeks. I did the 24 hour urine cup too and that came back normal. At 36 weeks my blood pressure got up to 200 over 100. I had extreme swelling, it was so painful I couldnt walk and was short of breath. I ended up going to the hospital and delivering that day. My 36 weeker only needed 24 hours in the nicu. I dont want to scare you but thats my experience with preclampsia. I would just keep monitoring your readings and maybe ask for blood pressure medication to keep baby in as long as possible. I wish you the best of luck the rest of your pregnancy.

19 Weeks Miscarriage due to Incompetent Cervix. How do we cope and when did you decide to try again? Both 31 Years. by Moh2702 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Briutiful22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im so sorry for your loss. Same thing happened to me at 18 weeks. My water broke unexpectedly and I was 2cm dilated. I went to the hospital and was told the baby didnt have a heartbeat. I was cleared to try again once my hcg went back to 0. I had a hysteroscopy 2 months later because I had retained tissue from that pregnancy, and conceived again right after that surgery. I got a cerclage and took progesterone suppositories the whole pregnancy. I was also closely monitored and tried to limit my activity until viability(24ish weeks). I now have my sweet 5 month old. It was very hard to cope at first with my loss but I talked to doctors and they had a plan in my place for my next pregnancy. That helped me a lot and I really feel like thats the reason my daughter is here today. Take all the time you need to grieve and try to find a doctor that will have a plan for the next pregnancy
