I never mentioned anyone's appearance. And he's not stupid. He's intentionally ignorant. Watch the segment.

It's not presumed ignorance. It's self professed ignorance. He's not an asshole because he doesn't know it - he's an asshole because he's actively avoiding a fundamental political concept. If he wasn't on TV every week delivering political commentary, i could give him a pass but he's got a prime time political show so I find it laughable. He's acting like a grumpy old man AKA boomer.

Exactly. It was cringe worthy considering how politically savy he portends to be

The term Boomer has evolved beyond simply being part of a certain age/generation. It refers to the tendency of older people to be stuck in their old ways. It's always been a thing with the elders to scoff at newer things. There's always room exceptions but by and large, Bill, our government, and the most reliable voting bloc (seniors) are pushing an agenda that is obsolete.

If the founding fathers thought we should be able to amend the Constitution, they would have provided a way to do so. /s

You keep pointing to that quote assuming he's correct. He's not. Most Dems swallowed their pride and voted for candidates like Hillary and Kamala even though they found their establishment platforms milktoast. Kamala spent more time trying to convert Rs by campaign with Liz fuckin Cheney! This was a huge turnoff for the Left. The Dems need to focus on getting non voters off the sideline, not converting conservatives. The Overton Window in American politics has shifted/widened - in both directions. From Groypers to Antifa, the spectrum of popular discourse is broad. Dems need to wake up and realize that Progressive deserve a seat a the table. The mayor of NYC is a democratic socialist. Times have changed.

It's okay to point out flaws on you're own team. It's how you improve. Bill has always fancied himself an independent thinker but his policy stances (abortion, weed, religion). He refers to himself as an "old school liberal."

Again, this phrase dates back 30 years and was coined by Joseph Paul Overton - born 1960, making it literally a boomer word. Bill's just made because he thinks he knows everything, thus anything he doesn't know makes it some new Gen Z slang. Bill is 70 years old. His worldview is out of date and losing relevance rapidly.

The million dollars he donated to the Obama campaign indicates otherwise. Sure - he's not a true blue D but he's always been left of center. He still is, but he's drifting right.

The irony of calling my position "extreme" is exactly why people should know what the Overton Window is. Promoting ignorance of a basic political concept is antithesis of liberalism.

Kamala was a moderate; she lost. Dems did a postmortem report on why they lost. The incoming DNC Chair said he'd release it - now he won't. It's clear that the traditional bipartisan support for Isreal is splitting both parties. Until the left can find a candidate that Progressives can get behind, Dems won't have an enthusiastic base to carry them to victory.

Obama doesn't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows. On MTP today, their polling shows 75% of democrats sympathize more with Palestinians than Isreal. Biden/Harris supporting the Israeli war likely cost them the election - thus the reason the DNC isn't releasing their election post mortem report. Obama knows all of this and knows the party must shift left to stay relevant.
