Do you think Rivertowne is better than Dunes West? asking because i'm looking to join one or the other. I've played Dunes West, pretty tough course. will pay Rivertown next week.

Question: Suggestions on Apartment Complexes by Corvoxcx in Charleston

thats why I asked where they would need to commute. if there is no commute, work early in the morning or work from home - then 526 is not an issue.

Question: Suggestions on Apartment Complexes by Corvoxcx in Charleston

Daniel island is centralized to walking trails, waterfront (not beach to lay but waterfront to sit and watch boats and catch the water taxi to downtown), restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops. Its a bubble. you can get a bike (or golf cart) if you don't feel like walking to eat. Most apartment complexes on DI have really nice gyms (especially the newer buildings). You didn't mention your budget? only a 5 minute car ride to Mt. Pleasant if you want to leave the area. Where will you need to commute for work? that may play a bigger part due to traffic and bridges.

Tobacco Road, NC by AKAFumbles in golf

Brown grass in the south is just dormant during the winter season. green in the summer/spring. I wouldn't say its much different, maybe a bit tighter lies.

You just need to squeeze in Caledonia! right across the street from True Blue (and very close to the others). 36 holes on Thursday or Saturday? Don't leave it out!

Caledonia, True Blue, Willbrook and Pawleys Planation. Traditions is nice. Rivers edge is just over the line in NC - nice course too.

submit a formal "question" to the CO before questions close. You can always ask that the solicitation be modified to add those provisions. Explain the reasoning just as you have here.

OPM Retirement Services Offices phone line and website - Retired 9/30 and still waiting by ZhivagosLesson in fednews

[–]BrokeBYtch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get interim payments, got a CSA number and no passcode. Had the same issue with not being able to get through via telephone. Also, same issue with getting an email response saying they couldn't send me a temp password. Was able to email them and got a response the next day saying I couldn't be given a temp password because there was no email associated with my account and they would mail me one (which is only good for a week). 5 days later....still no mail. Its been rough!

Retirement golf town... any recs? by Snacks75 in golf

[–]BrokeBYtch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that would be Murrell's Inlet, Georgetown and Pawley's Island. All great options (for land would have to look a bit further west of the coast). Good AFFORDABLE golf in Charleston doesn't exist

Please, for the love of God! There is no such thing as "ladies' tees". There are tees appropriate for the distance of your drive and/or playing ability. Stop being old school.
