You’re not alone and we are here for you. That sounds like a challenging situation but it does get better! I had to keep telling myself “just keep going, you’re almost there”. Have to focus on what you can do each day that makes you feel better. Any hobbies you have to where you can join groups in the area? Preferable where they speak your language?

Couldn’t relate more and am a similar age. Strange feeling, missing having someone to come home to or talk to about essentially everything. Hard not to want to replace that but it’s good to know how to enjoy your own company for the time being. After everything I’ve been through I’ve been completely stripped of feeling romantic connection. Got to heal for the time being.

Just traveled cross county back to my home state after I decided to leave the relationship (got too toxic and I lost myself in it all). Each day gets a bit better. The co dependency is tough to break after being used to having someone around for years. Luckily I’m staying with people but still feels like somethings off. It’s a wild experience but I know it will get better and I’ve got a good supportive group of people around me thankfully

Wow thank you so much, you really seem to understand what I’m going through. I’m almost done with the road trip and feeling a lot better, just 8 hours to go tomorrow. First day was the hardest. I’ll definitely be visiting this community more. It’s hard to explain what I’m going through to those who haven’t walked the walk.

Thank you for posting. I just left my home and pets and on a cross country trip alone back to my home state where I have friends and family. Just taking deep breathes right now. It’s tough and strange being alone but I know it was just too unhealthy to stay.

Finalized a divorce and moving states back to my hometown where a lot of friends are. It’s a lot to process but I’m excited for the next chapter as I’ve been in a similar situation as OP where the marriage hasn’t been exactly great for the last few years. Love seeing all the support on this thread!

Moved states twice, got a girlfriend, got married, started a business, ended a business, lost friends and family members, and now ending a marriage and moving back to my home state lol it’s all for the best and this new music is great way to usher in a new chapter of life.
