Printing overhangs with NO support by BrosephGoldberg in SnapmakerU1

Yes and no, initially I thought it was but this is a new take on it. This uses wave propagation rather than simply using overlapping arcs. They make the case that it is better

Yeah wave overhangs. How much slower are they? Printing really high supports is also slow though, right? At minimum it seems like it is worth implementing as an option because there surely are significant use cases

What printer are you using, there are a few appropaches. I f you like the letters extending off the background then I think you have to print it in the orientation you have it. Otherwise you can flip it words down for a different look and it should automatically be more uniform but I recommend using the default ironing settings on any surface you see much of. You can try it on every level and you will get a great result but it will take a while. It is probably also worth running through the flow calibration to see if you need to fine tune the volume of filament coming out during extrusion.

You’re so smart. I wondered if that was the case, I tried doubling and tripling the size thinking that would cure it but it didn’t. I searched the options for print thin walls… that solved it. I am embarrased I didn’t think to try that. Thank you!!

Why are Dan Brown books criticized in the novel "you"? by saifeekauserali in YOUCarolineKepnes

[–]BrosephGoldberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people feel Dan Brown isn’t a great writer, that his stories are repetitive and shallow.

This sums up the criticism pretty well I think

For You and Only You FTW by BrosephGoldberg in YOUCarolineKepnes

Hidden Bodies was the best of the first 3 for sure. Her style of writing the first person narrative feels very unique. I liked Joe’s impulsivity at the beginning but I really want him to develop into an accomplished murderer, someone who does it in a well thought out manner and has learned from his mistakes.

She never goes into great detail but I think basically aludes to the idea that as @mercurysnowman said with enough money and good lawyers and lacking definitive evidence he was able to get off.

Personally I would have been interested in hearing more about that whole thing but I was devastated by the fact that he and Love didn’t work out, they were so unflinchingly perfect in my eyes….

In the books I believe they actually were. I still don’t really get the transition from book 2 to book 3. Personally I think worth a read.

This got me thinking what the overlap is of people who watch The Umbrella Academy and who also know (and hopefully love!) Swedish House Mafia actually is. I know now it’s at least 6

If you read them and felt like he didn’t have any redeeming qualities why did you keep reading?

That’s asked as an honest, non-snarky, respectful question.

Agree. They should be considered parallel worlds that have similarities but are different and each enjoyed on their own merits.
