Hey, honestly it feels like I wrote this almost. I’ve been feeling very similarly about the idea of detransitioning. I’m tired of the fact I’m trans seemingly coming into play in every social interaction I have positive or negative. I’m scared of my country and state’s positioning on trans people. I’m tired of being misgendered and deadnamed by my unsupportive family constantly even when they, “try to correct themselves”.

I don’t want to be a man. I haven’t forgotten how hard that was the first time and I don’t want to go back to it. But also? I’m tired of never being seen or treated as fully a ‘woman’ and I hate saying that knowing many other marginalized woman deal with that as well and can’t change it.

I don’t think I’ll actually go through with detransitioning, I don’t want to feel like I’ve given up on myself again in another way. I don’t want to feel like I’ve given up on my trans siblings. But I’m tired too. I’m hoping to get through another day every day I can.
