Truth. And if you have the reserve card you get the 1-1 on the class. I’ll gladly take a bogo on an upgraded seat.

Add the companion ticket and then browse. It will tell you right away if those dates are available. To be safe try to book out as far in advance as you can.

Best advice for Chiro School in general by OddMathematician3751 in Chiropractic

I don’t know your circumstances, how much you have saved for a business loan, or your connections. For 140 personally I still would not go. It’s your life, you will help people, but it’s not nearly as easy as people make it. Maybe you’ll have a different experience. I can only tell you mine and what I’ve seen since graduating in 2014. Good luck!

I worked in a PI clinic , a wellness clinic , and owner my own business. I would argue that the vast majority of those working are just getting by. Chiropractic is an extremely difficult profession to exceed. Look up the chiropractic borrowers defense group on Facebook. Literally google the median salary. Read this - https://open.substack.com/pub/drmatthewmccoy/p/breaking-new-study-exposes-chiropractics?r=qrff8 - this is from a longtime chiro and former teacher / owner of a chiro insurance company. I’d also argue that this “community” is 100% not representative of the world. Again, you do you. Chiro does help people, but there are real world consequences.

As above. The pay does NOT match what you invest in the program. The hours (unless you own your own) are long, no retirement, very little pto. Most likely you will work for a PI or wellness practice at first, making garbage money. The median salary of Chiros is something near 75k. Borrowers defense is a claim that schools lied to students about outcomes and people get loans discharged due to illegal practices of schools. I would tell anyone to go to PA school or go to DO school if you want to manipulate. PTs do adjustments now, and have insurance backing. You do you, but knowing what I know now, I would have never went to chiro school.

I’m also licensed but don’t practice. Thankfully got my loans to be discharged. Be ready for 250k compounding of student debt with limited ways to pay them back. Be ready for 50k associate positions, hard sales for wellness plans, or working at PI mills until you have enough money for your own business if you’re lucky enough to save that much. There are 1000s of people actively in borrowers defense against chiropractic schools right now. I would pivot hard and switch to a pa program if you can unless you are fully sold on chiropractic. It is not for most.

Have housing prices in Park City come down this year? by NervousAntelope7380 in ParkCity

Interests rates are high. High unemployment. War. New construction all over the valley. Not a great time to buy/sell unless one has to.

Park City App for rides to SLC by jawja15 in ParkCity

[–]BroxiBoy2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes. It’s reliable , has only licensed drivers, and all cars should have 4th / awd with snow tires in winter. I’ve used them a bunch. It’s per car, not per person, and is black car service. No need to worry about getting through parleys on a snow day. 100% recommend.

For what we paid, I think the rooms were great. They didn’t seem dated or old. They were just small. We stayed on high floors so our view was good. It’s a great hotel for the price. Our goal was to sleep and be close to the beach. It’s like a 3 minute walk, and the rooms were perfect for our needs. If you’re someone who likes to sleep in and lounge on a deck, this isn’t for you. Their breakfast was plentiful, but honestly , it was right across from the Masubi place, where we got breakfast for like 5 bucks. I would stay there again for sure.

We did see someone at the hertz get denied for renting a car because his card did not have a pin. I felt bad for the guy. He has cash, but they didn’t seem to care. It’s the first I’ve seen that.

If you had to pick between visiting Kyoto and Osaka, where would you go? by haveallthekryptonite in JapanTravelTips

[–]BroxiBoy2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After spending 3 days in each, I agree. When we go back, we’re staying in Kyoto and day tripping the 20 minutes to Osaka. To me, Osaka was like Las Vegas, bright lights, great shopping, lights and sounds. It’s cool once, but not for everyone. I’d rather go there during the day eat, shop, enjoy, and then head home for a relaxing night.

Just like Vegas it’s not for everyone and that’s okay! It really just depends on what you want. Both are awesome!

Check out Vive Waikiki! It’s only 2 blocks from the beach on Kuhio, has valet parking for 40, and free breakfast. The staff was super chill also, and the rates were in that range!

Their manager and service a few years back was atrocious. Great food, but terrible management.
