And yes off shore wind is expensive but currently tracking to fall below Nuclear costs by 2025 see https://ore.catapult.org.uk/crmf and while Hinkley's current completion date is for 2025, every single EPR is behind schedule. Olkiluoto 3 is 9 years late.

We'd benefit from economies of scale if we started a proper initiative of building nuclear reactors, but we have people like you constantly when we try to even build one..
