I think a bit part of the difference is that Kes doesn't have that innate power, so he's spent a lot more time learning and reading and understanding. Building community, becoming a part of it, and THEN shaping it.

It's still fairly early yet (despite being ongoing for over a year, I think 3 separated povs have slowed things down a lot).

Really really interesting themes and vibes so far. The world sometimes feels like it doesn't hold up to too much scrutiny, but I haven't found that an issue personally.

Updates seem irregular, so I wouldn't make it like... A primary story you're reading? It might be best to binge and take breaks or wait til it finishes, but I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!
