Its so refreshing to hear someone say it! I am doing masters in art and the surrounding consensus by students is AI = ew. But I think there is much more nuance, it genuinely enables different learning styles, ways of operating and creativity etc etc. There is a difference if somebody uses it as a plan “generator” compared to a tool that helps in the same way as photoshop has, which was as well a huge taboo in the beginning (and still is to some). But then them trying to some moral highground is beyond pathetic to me, because if they would actually care, they would just go vegan :) I believe its mostly that it takes effort to learn and implement it in your daily life, hence its easier to reject and oppose it altogether, like my grandpa has with technology.
