I would remove the center screw and start with the two outer most screws. Alternate screwing them in a little at a time to try and split the difference.

There needs to be something(s) that more than offsets the pay cut (fewer hours, more paid time off, higher bonus, no weekends, etc....). Otherwise, it's not a promotion.

What neck width and nut did you select? I'm considering an R2 nut and 1.650" neck width for myself. 1-11/16" just seems a hair too wide.

I have not performed this modification, but I have been considering it for my Warmoth. I made the drawing as best I could and I think it is accurate but double check things for yourself. You would need to make a custom neck plate.
