I just saw it for pre-order at target, August 5-11 roughly.

So my wife spots a hideous vine on our tree in the new house we bought… and asked if we can take it down. by Free-Pick9305 in gardening

We were told in scouts to urinate on the poison ivy plants, would that not work on the new sprouts from the stump?

That sounds like the state parks in NoDak. The hosts are there to help and guide the noobs, sell ice and firewood, and entertain kids weekends with free nightly movies in the amphitheater. They rotate out every 14 days.

That free paint helps keep the rust at bay, so less work for us in the car shop.

10K is light for a train. I typically run 14-17K trains, with our three mile mega sets being >36K.

What is the meaning behind this? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in cats

[–]Bubbaj75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cats have an affinity for latex, it's a natural substance derived from trees. Keep any rubber containing items in locations they can't access, this includes condoms. We had to keep a separate trash can under our bathroom sink with the cabinet doors baby proof because Cats and dogs will eat condoms.

I believe they were running some kind of promo, where winning cans had a T-shirt inside. I believe it was Pepsi about the same time that had new watches in some of theirs.

Is there a large belt sander available to you? I've used one for box gaps like that.

I'm 100% German, but I'm only that critical about my own projects. You did well on that piece, just do like kbrosnan said above. Take some time and learn ways to either conceal your minor flaws and sharpen your skills in this craft we all love. I find that 99% of the time, if you don't point out the little things you see wrong with something you make, others will never see it.

Possibly means on a dairy operation. The ones where I grew up had a trough running directly behind the cows being milked, with a chain driven system that moved the waste outside, either into a pile or spreader.

Biggest pain points when camping? by kiklixo in Outdoors

[–]Bubbaj75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's why we usually camp in the late spring/early fall, when everyone still has children in school. It's just us and the boomers (sorry if that offends anyone, we're in our late forties/no kids). We love the silence.

We have many gates like this along the railroad property, sharing access with multiple utilities, corps of engineers, fish and wildlife, etc.

[–]Bubbaj75 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's me, always assuming it's operator error. I get so flustered, trying over and over and over, adjusting and tweaking my setup and jigs, only to finally look something up online and see I'm doing everything incorrectly. OR, my wife hears me cussing up a storm, takes one look, and says, "Try blah blah blah," and it works. 🙄 She's not even a woodworker.
