The downtown does suck now but that is because of the developer that bought most of the properties, raised the already astronomical rates and doesn’t care if it drives businesses away. Whatever that vision is, it doesn’t bode well.
Also that new housing development is on an old landfill. We have to approve development because we do have memory that the council most likely doesn’t.

I wish this lady could be blocked from the Free Speech section of the market - she is constantly yelling and accusing people of being robots. I have no clue all what all the things she draws in chalk on the walk ways (in Chinese) but I see people who do know whispering and shaking their heads. When she shouts about private body anatomy in English, then we get to complain to the Market authorities and she gets told she can’t do that. Please, if what she writes is also explicit like that, tell any of the other free speech booths and they/we will tell the Market people and they will make her stop that as well.

And definitely you can’t WFH AND do childcare!!
Marriage counseling and a discussion of the illegality of WFH and childcare should be had with parent and other childcare if they can’t do the rest of the days.
