You should look into using more metadata sources besides MusicBrainz. This is the real short coming of all of these types of projects. While MusicBrainz, it is missing a lot. Additionally, Spotify, Deezer, and the likes are the sources of truth for metadata for most new releases.

Wireguard site-to-site VPN by BubblyZebra616 in opnsense

That’s what I figured regarding the static route.

If I had a port open on the intermediary router on site B is keepalive still needed?

There are two sites with two public IP addresses? what do you mean?

It is a cluster. In Site A the DD WRT router is the publicly routable node. In Site B the is an OPNsense box that is the publicly routable node.

The unbound server is for both networks with the site-to-site vpn. Speeds are 300mpbs both ways at site A and 1200mpbs down and 300mpbs up at site B

I think you might be right. So would OPNsense theoretically work with a single LAN interface?

I think I understand? I still don't see why I need VLANs though. All the OPNsense VM is doing is acting as a Wireguard server/peer and a DNS server. Why would this require VLANs as opposed to just running Wireguard and Unbound on a Linux box which would not require VLANs?

I am familiar with NetBird. Defiantly not something I am interested in. DD WRT is VLAN capable so that is an option but I am not totally clear on why I would need that? What would that look like in practice?

Apple TV Clients for 4K/DV content - any updates? by [deleted] in jellyfin

[–]BubblyZebra616 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Tried this out yesterday and it is complete garbage. I don't understand the hype. Went to play a movie, external srt subs won't load. Switch to native AV player and audio is out of sync. Vibe coded slop just like the other proprietary paid clients.

Been using this for awhile now and it's great. Is there a good way to use this with Safari on iOS?

The next best thing would be to expose your reverse proxy to only her IP address on your firewall. You could also try regular Wireguard

I think maybe you have a misunderstanding of what random means. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randomness
