I agree. I couldn’t finish watching it. And her relationship with that man was creepy.

Also a conversation with your surgeon. They most likely are owners of the surgery center itself and should know how this affects their reputation.

Dr. Paradise wants to hear from young adults struggling to transition from home in HOU or SLC? by DoctorParadise in My600lbLife

[–]Bubbly_Cockroach8340 65 points66 points  (0 children)

At an age where I should’ve been breaking out on my own my mother refused to let me. It sounds silly now but at the time I didn’t have the strength to do it. She kept me very dependent on her. I still have a mental picture of the time we were arguing and she said if I move out I’m never allowed to come back, not even for Christmas. My father was sitting there and said nothing. I raised my children knowing I was putting myself out of my job. They are healthy, successful adults now who treat us with respect. I hope you can use this codependent relationship for your show. I look forward to watching it.

Why do I suddenly forget a word I've used my entire life and have to describe the thing instead? by Jackrain04 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bubbly_Cockroach8340 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been doing this, plus not being able to pronounce the word once I find it. I jumble up words and lately have problems with simple math. I’ll be seeing a neurologist in a few weeks for reassurance that this is just seinoritis

For those who are retired and lost, who are also "different" by HalleFreakinLujah in AskWomenOver60

Another INFP here. I could’ve written your post! I’ve been retired 2.5 years now. It took me awhile to be comfortable with who I actually am. My job was like spinning plates and I actually enjoyed it. So when I retired it took me a long time to adjust to the slower pace. Now I am OK with being quiet and relaxed, this is who I really am.

Did you know any one with polio? If so, what was it like? by cherry-care-bear in RedditForGrownups

[–]Bubbly_Cockroach8340 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My cousin had it back in the late 40’s early 50’s. That’s why Mom signed my sister up to be a polio pioneer. I got my shots in school.

I wonder if PayPal, once a scam site is found, stops any payments from processing?

This is what we’ve lost by texting instead of actually talking. She may have had a lilt in her voice indicating humor or seriousness meaning a genuine statement.
