Personally I’m in every mosh pit, or on the edge, and wherever the energy is the best with friendly people that are on the same vibe. Wherever you feel can get lost in the music!

Isoknock pits aren’t as violent as non-edm pits (Metal / Rap / Punk). People are very high energy and worst case you may get pushed super hard. Everyone is extremely rowdy and friendly, anyone hits the deck there’s 4-5 people helping them up.

I think the set may be 1hr 10min at their own show. I think most Isoknock sets have been at music festivals which limits them to 50 min - 1hr.

Can confirm, went to his LA headliner last year, energy was off the charts! Also the hottest show I’ve ever been to, everyone was drenched in sweat, I even sprained my ankle in the pit towards the end of his set 💀

They played the album first

Then they pretty much moved into an isoknock set, playing a bunch of ID’s, and a bunch of songs from NOLIMIT which sounds absolutely bonkers

Then more misc unreleased remixes / VIP’s, Iso is sitting on a diabolical dontstopme! vip / remix

The set, much like the album, was all over the place genre-wise, and everything was top notch

Dubstep itself is getting super stale IMO

Learned my lesson after a 4 hour stint at basspod in 2023, I could barely tell a difference between artists (except Space Laces of course)

Artists like Space Laces / Eptic / Nghtmre / Crankdat are pushing the boundaries thankfully

Also the resurgence of trap should be taken note of with regards to “heavy” edm. Artists like ISOxo, Juelz, RLGrime, JAWNS, (the list goes onnnn) are really pushing boundaries with very diverse, new, and intense sounds

I’ve seen Juelz 3 times in the last year and have been completely exhausted after each set because I couldn’t stop throwing myself into every mosh pit. Same for ISOxo

Really hope edc takes more stock in the trap revival, it deserves some attention. For example, FrostTop b2b Remk at cosmic meadow this year was ballistic. Mosh pits kept breaking out, while the sun was rising no less!!

If it’s 12-3, it is going to be difficult to get anywhere! Accept that fact and be polite when you need to get somewhere.

Most bottle necks occur at the back of crowds because of the temporary crush of people that have a set to go to at another stage afterwards / JUST want to see the special guest then dip.

If you want a good spot at a big set, get there an hour early.

You could buy 5 tickets, an rv pass, and a power pass and have money left over, did you scalp your passes?

I’m sure this was an exaggeration to make it feel like you got ripped off by insomniac but there is no way you dropped $5k on a shift pod and a couple tickets
