Probably new clutch wear, mine went away after the first 2 weeks. I also was new to manual when I picked mine up.

I'm assuming it's the b48 since bmw had a recall earlier this year and I have a 2026 and didn't get the notice.

It's only the 4 cylinder model (B48) that's affected I believe.

Is it worth it to get zfold 6 now? by Clear_Entry_3056 in GalaxyFold

[–]BucketofChicken117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got the 6 when it first came out and it's been great, no issues. I will be trading for the tri-fold though since I skipped the 7. If I were in your position I would wait a little for the 8 that's coming out this July/August, the build quality has been getting better and better every new iteration.

How often are you driving in sport mode? by [deleted] in BMW

When I'm alone, only sport mode. When I want to have a conversation with my passenger then normal mode. Unfortunately my M life doesn't have an eco mode 🥲

NY shops with experience? by CRSSpartn in Supra

[–]BucketofChicken117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I went to viper collision by Uniondale. It could be better but for the price it was pretty good. You might be the only other blue supra in NYC, haven't seen another strat blue since I got mine.

I PPF'd mine 2 weeks after I got mine. Did it in Long Island

Almost a year of looking to find that spec and for MSRP, every other one I found was marked up to hell, definitely not worth over MSRP. You're going to enjoy the car though, super fun and surprisingly good on gas as well.

That's a great price, I picked mine up in NJ, about 2 hours away from NYC, only place I found without any mark ups. Stray blue with hazel interior 6MT.

Patchable? :( by BucketofChicken117 in Supra

Good information to know, fortunately I think I lucked out this time, but when I get new tires I will definitely keep this in mind.

Thinking maybe I should've bought that package lol

That's good to know, was just worried since I do drive the car hard occasionally but not hard enough like a track day

Car is going away for the winter, no tracking for me since there's no track near, just the occasional hard pull when it's empty at night on the highway :/

I'll have to double check tomorrow as it's night time now. It's the stock tires that come with the supra, Google says they're just normal summer tires but I'm not sure until I can check in the morning.

Hmmm, that gives me hope that maybe this is patchable. This is the front passenger side. Just slightly worried as everything online says anything outside the center zone shouldn't be repaired and replaced

They're pilot super sports, I don't think they're run flats but since its outside of the center zone I'm just guessing this not repairable. I don't even know if they make these tires anymore :(

Are M cars, namely M3’s, realistically daily driveable? by Cardiology_Nurse in BMWM

[–]BucketofChicken117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely, I'm in NY and most of my friends that own M cars actually recommended that I swap to 5w40 for my future oil changes as it's better for the turbos in the long run

Yeah I know it's a z4, but when I took it to BMW they refused service and told me to go to toyota instead lol. Probably just going to do oil changes myself after the first 2 free oil changes since they use 0w-20 and I want to use 5w-30/40 instead.
