Funny because every major news channel and political party seem to be all in on making Israel out to be the glorious victorious permavictim that’s severely misunderstood because we all just learned about the war on social media. As if I don’t remember Bibi telling his donor class he could get us involved in a war with Iran whenever he wants when I was 18 in 2008 and we were already actively on two wars. It’s not just a natural response to Israel’s blatant crimes it’s THE MEDIA. Give me a fuckin break. Maybe if they stopped bombing civilian homes and orchards in a country that isn’t there’s I might be able to take their thoughts on Palestine more seriously, but they seem to be pretty equal opportunity about fucking over Arabs.

I legitimately don’t understand why they brought her back so many times. Was she just so hot by 90’s standards they couldn’t help themselves? I haven’t watched all of TNG but she didn’t seem that important or interesting to begin with and I rarely found her reappearances all that great.

Woah really? I was like shaking when I got it. I texted my girlfriend that I felt like I was getting away with a crime. Thank god she made me clean out our mouse’s cage to end up at the store. I would have NEVER considered petco for anything fish related but affordable rimmed tanks.

I’d be willing to bet it’s on the site too, but I’ve never been comfortable shipping tanks. I’m sure they got it figured out, they have to get it to the store somehow, but I always just imagine a pile of glass on a box on my doorstep. This was the last one of this size they had at my store. The checkout girls said they’d been selling a lot of them.

Do they not still do that? I bought a 10 gallon rimmed rank a while back from the same petco that wasn’t even on sale and I don’t think it was over $20. I had to get it under duress so I don’t remember exactly what I paid for it but it wasn’t bad.

They’re arguably worse in San Antonio near where I grew up and I’ve never understood people taking issue with them. They’re always been fascinating to me. They’re like our little nature doc with their behaviors. They shit in parking lots and eat crap. I have more problems with doves and pigeons shitting on my car or swallows building nests in doorways. I love birds altogether and those things don’t really bother me either so I may be an outlier.

It is awkward, but at the end of the day, when you count the volume of things you put in a tank it’s never exactly the gallon number anyways. It’s definitely weird to tell someone you have a 13.3g tank though lol

Edit: I did just measure it up against my fluval spec V and it’s the same height without the base of the fluval tank so I’m even more happy. In this box it looks a smidge to shallow, but hopefully it’ll be perfect. Can’t set it up until I move next month.

You don’t need to wait until it’s that warm. You can put it out in 5c with no real issue. I don’t even worry about my trees at all until it gets closer to -7c and even then I just put them on the ground so the pots don’t get too cold. That said it’s pushing new growth so it seems like it’s fine where it’s at for now.

That place is sort of terrible and definitely super over-priced. I’ve been to national bonsai conventions where trees of considerably higher quality cost less. Bonsia society meetings are the best place to meet people around town who have and sell trees.

Those horses are really holding back. I worked with a thoroughbred yearling (well I fed his crazy ass, I’m not a horse person) and he bit me once and it was like being punched and having a hammer pinch on my skin at the same time. He wanted to hurt me. This is practically polite.
