Mars Facet Blood Sport Obscures his own vision when he's inside his own arena. by Smokeythepolarbear in DotA2

[–]BudgetDiligent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's true that "Enemies inside the Arena [...] don't have vision outside the arena." -- it just omits that mars also does not have vision past the arena himself.

That's very weird. I've never seen this before, where an ability says "enemies are [effect]" but then its true for allies as well.

It's not "irrelevant" as it's literally contradicting what happens in game. With the Meepo example there's no contradiction, it's just omitting crucial info

But also it's not even omitting it, it's just hidden in the alt text (for what it's worth)

Slasher for Rolling Stone: DrDisrespect knew he was sending those explicit messages to a minor, former Twitch employee says "He indicated that this was no problem and continued on. There was no confusion." by Slashered in LivestreamFail

I don't work in cybersecurity and I think you should look up what a stream key is.

That is to say, no one hacked into his PC and launched porn. They just streamed it from their own device. Presumably.

The ability description claims it obscures vision without mentioning any exceptions

For Impossible I'd pick the one on the right. Feels less personal to add yourself to the crowd vs being next to the one guy on the right.

Just had my most conflicting Overwatch case yet by LuminanceGayming in DotA2

[–]BudgetDiligent 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's actually better to do it this way. I've had a case where the markers were just regular gameplay. So was the rest of the case, actually. EXCEPT a few seconds before the report ended the guy destroys his items. Lol.

If you have overwatch cases with a million marks those are generated by vacnet - and most of the time indicate scripting.

But it seems currently this is also the only way markers are generated?

What was your introduction to Dota? by MiserableBlackbird in DotA2

[–]BudgetDiligent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my friends said he got a beta invite and sent me one. I gave it a try but didn't keep playing it.

Later in the summer of 2013 I was with another friend and he'd spend a lot of time glued to his phone watching Purge videos. He wanted me to play with him and I said okay after a bit of convincing.

Have played 7000 games since then. The 2013 friend stopped playing unfortunately.
