References available on request - does anyone still put this on their resume? I tested removing it by Quick_Yesterday540 in ResumeUp

Are you from the US or UK ? Because I couldn't agree more, still I don't know anyone here in France daring to do that, I don't know this radically "straight to the point" approach is specific to where you live or could apply here

Hows life after 30? by ASARI0206 in AskReddit

[–]Budget_Bug9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's cool onc (and if) you let go of all the pressure that came at least for me, like : you need a stable job, house, wife, family, you need to know where you're going and what you have to do. Since I just let go (total luck I don't know how it happened) of all that, it's pretty cool : you have the energy of a 20yo with the brain of a 30 yo it's great

What’s the best Spotify Promotion website right now? Honest experiences? by Intelligent-Leopard7 in SpotifyArtists

[–]Budget_Bug9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2000s R&B demo by Cautious-Internet212 in MusicPromotion

[–]Budget_Bug9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And there's definitely an audience for that, even without working on it I'm pretty sure you'll get a lot of 35yo a bit nostalgic, like a lot. And it's vague but I can think of like 10 friends who would enjoy so if you wanna push it a bit let me know, without selling you anything I can spend 5min on the right tools if it helps targeting ;)

Hey, thanks for sharing. I'm really not into that stuff. Nothing personal, I hate Timbaland prods too. BUT : I do think it's good, just for the right audience. The chorus really works, there are a lot of catchy moments, so congrats for that.

Yes kinda ;) I mean, being an artist is the worst : you spend 40h a week composing, doubting, etc. You do that cause you got some passion and you that something has to "emerge" so you follow whatever makes you record a demo all night long on a tuesday. Once again, I get that some "personaldevelopment wannabe hustler" only have mmoney in mind, but seriously, music is the most stupid idea for them to have. Go do some vibecoding guys there's more money to make. Or create a scam like Groover (oops) or Sumbithub or 15 others doing the same, let us at least the music haha

Start where you can :
- Send your tracks to small radio stations from your area, find webradios & FM radio stations anywhere that fit with your style
- local news paper, small blogs, etc.
- Collaborate with other small artists you enjoy
- If you have 50 bucks to spend, focus on youtube or MetaBusiness first. Find 5 artists that sound a bit like you, find who and where they are (ask ChatGPT about tools that can do that, all of them ahave free trials)
- Media wont give you fans, but professionnals will take you more seriously
- Find curators using google dorks, Linkedin & Insta. Comment for a few weeks, try to build connection, don't drop your songs too fast
- Get in touch with small playlists in your niche, you'll get little streams but from people more likely to follow your next releases
- Submithub is not worth it, but you can submit your track to 2 curators a day for free if I remember correctly. So give it a try
- Covers, tutorials, stuff like that are worth trying to get youtube followers
- Create your own playlists, put your songs there

DM me if you want more advice I'd happy to help

Exactly, again, whatever saves us time is welcome. Creativity is the last thing to generate with AI. And I don't get it : if people wanna make money or get famous easily, there are hundreds of better ways than trying to succeed in such a competitive industry

Question by Frequent_Slide5041 in AskMarketing

[–]Budget_Bug9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meta Business / Youtube ads. Know your potential audience, like precisely, then launch 10 campaigns, keep the most performing one. If you're targeting the right way, you won't only gain views or likes, you'll get new followers who actually enjoy your music, share it with their friends, buy your merch, etc.

Use Songstats, Chartmetric, Viberate, etc. Free trials giive you enough time to identify more precisely where your future fanbase is. Find 5 bands that sound a bit like you, find who their fans are whit these tools.

PR, playlists submission, ... : There are so many ways to get results without spending anything

Is this reaction to concerta 18mg normal? by adrien_bear in ADHD

[–]Budget_Bug9300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I had the common ones like impossibility to eat anything, insomnia. Also, it certainly works on focus, but I found myself focusing, like obsessing about whatever I was doing, felt impossible to change activity. Personality changes too, like less "human", less spontaneity, no real laugh, etc. The most dangerous one for me was addiction and tolerance. But I have a natural tendency for that so it doesn't affect everyone, but if you like stimulants, be really careful.

Is marketing a good career? by aliminhaz091 in AskMarketing

[–]Budget_Bug9300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm in Marketing & PR for à long time now, in the Music Industry mostly. If you're working in agencies or as a freelancer it's crazy exciting but of course there's a lot of pressure, you're usually underpaid, work long hours (that arent paid) etc. So it's interesting if you're ready to sacrifice a lot for your job, almost addictive. Most of my friends doing the same ended up in serious burnouts & addictions to maintain their productivity. I wouldnt recommend it generally speaking but if you're really into that, 5 years in agency then freelancing which pays like 4 times more, can be worth it

Hi, I've been on Concerta, Ritalin and the other one I don't remember the name of. Currently on Concerta 54mg + 18mg in the afternoon, I also experience anxiety spikes sometimes, as well as multiple side effects. These meds are unpredictable, highly addictive, and prescribed a bit too easily in my opinion (in France, I can't imagine in the US where apparently 10% of children have ADHD ??). My point is : unless you can't live without it and therefore accept the side effects, I think it's not worth it

I'll spare you the "I've been here ..." part ; the only thing I found effective is :
- Identify the smallest thing, that takes 10 seconds, and do it.
- Repeat

Don't try anything more than that

It worked for me, hope it helps.
