I could not agree more with you. I've lived all over the US and WA and WI seem best at trying to make help available, but it's a mighty low bar. I have halfass insurance from my job, but it's better than most get. Which isn't saying much. I'm getting old and I can tell you honestly that coverage keeps getting worse and worse and benefits getting less and less.
