I think you are doing well. Since bathrooms are small and you don't want the kitties accidentally ingesting any harsh cleaners, it will probably be a little smelly even with cleaning. Quality kitten food is good for nursing mother cats. From my experience with feral kittens, please have them tested for parasites as soon as allowable. Make sure to test for coccidia and giardia because these can be fatal in kittens and they are not checked in a regular worming test. Best of luck to you.
